Dr. James Bolger

Our head doctor, Dr. James Bolger, MSIS, DVM, opened our animal hospital in 1999. He is a 1994 graduate of Tufts Veterinary School of Medicine. Before owning CVH, he worked as an associate with several area veterinary practices. Dr. Bolger has years of experience working with non-profit organizations, developing protocols and strategies to help disadvantaged pet owners and their beloved companions attain and secure medical services. 

Laura Valley

Hospital Administrator 

After years of volunteer work, Laura came to CVH in 2003 with a background in administration and a passion for animal welfare. She has a BS in Psychology from Worcester State University. She has volunteered for many local organizations, including the Volunteer Humane Society in Lancaster and Sterling Animal Shelter. She loves spending time with her family and rescue dogs, Max and Kage. Special interests include time outdoors hiking, gardening, and traveling.

Jessica Guillemette

Veterinary Technician 

Jessica is a graduate of Becker College and has been a veterinary technician and groomer for over ten years. She came to CVH in the fall of 2010. Her primary focus is senior/geriatric and special needs pets. She shares her home with three senior rescue dogs and two cats, one with cerebellum hyperplasia.

Kerry Maynard

Veterinary Technician/ Administration 

Kerry has been with CVH since 2004, starting as a receptionist and then being trained to become a technician. She currently works in all aspects of the hospital and enjoys the client interaction and the technical side. She has attended the University of Phoenix and Mt. Wachusett Community College, specializing in Healthcare and Business Administration. She resides in Clinton with her husband and son and her senior feline rescue, Moby. In her spare time, Kerry likes reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Melissa Lafrennie

Veterinary Technician/ Administration 

Melissa joined CVH in 2012 with experience in administration and pharmacy. During her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her two children, attending as many of their sports events as possible, and her six fur babies (All cats- Henrietta, Dipper, Kevin, Margo, Wendy, and Elaine). She is involved in cat rescue and enjoys her daily runs. Melissa also enjoys horseback riding and training and helps at the barn whenever possible.

Mallory Gonzalez

Veterinary Technician 

Mallory has been with CVH since the beginning of 2014 and received her AS degree in Veterinary Technology at Becker College in 2016. She has three cats named Layla, Louie, and Gracie, who is blind. She also adopted a Pittie Mix named Penny. Mallory is enjoying being a new mom and spends her time outdoors and camping in Maine.

Amanda Henderson

Client Service Specialist

Amanda is a recent addition to the CVH team with 11 years in Veterinary Administration. She lives with her fiancé in Leominster with four cats, a Pacman frog, and a bearded dragon. She graduated from Fitchburg State with a degree in Biology. Away from the hospital, she also works at a consignment store and enjoys WoW, reading, cooking, and all things that sparkle and unicorns.

Vincent "Vinny" James Bolger

Felis Catus 

Vinny joined CVH in early 2019, coming to us with a diagnosis of diabetes at the age of 9 years old. We took him in to find a home, but he warmed all of our hearts and quickly became part of the family. Vinny now resides with us here at the hospital and is in remission from diabetes while leading a healthy and active lifestyle within the CVH community. He aspires to be a leader and lover, so watch out for those green eyes!
